About Us

My wife and I have always considered ourselves incredibly fortunate—our work has taken us to remarkable places across the globe. Travel has shaped much of my life and career, including work with an international NGO that has brought me to regions few people ever experience. Along the way, we’ve passed our love for exploration and global connection on to our kids.

This past year has been particularly difficult for many of the places that have left a mark on my heart—from underfunded national parks to communities affected by shifting U.S. foreign policy. In the face of these changes, I felt inspired to create something positive—something rooted in memory, beauty, and connection. That inspiration became Kensington Puzzle Company.

Our puzzles are inspired by real destinations and personal travel experiences. Each one features original photography or artwork, accompanied by a short story to help you feel part of the place—not just as a puzzler, but as a fellow traveler.

As a family of puzzle lovers, we also wanted to reimagine how puzzling fits into the home. Over time, we found ourselves surrounded by bulky boxes, completed puzzles we loved but rarely revisited, and beautiful artwork hidden away. That’s what inspired our Kensington Puzzle Box—a more intentional and elegant way to collect, store, and enjoy your puzzles and artwork.

Finally—and most importantly—a portion of all profits from Kensington Puzzle Company goes to support organizations advancing international development and community resilience. It's one small way we hope to give back to the places and people that inspired this journey.

Our hope is that each puzzle becomes more than a pastime—that it becomes a moment of beauty, peace, and a way to travel from your own home.
